Blend : 38% Chardonnay, 37% Pinot Noir, 25% Pinot Meunier Dosage : 4.5g/L Production : 636 bottles Awards : Silver Medal – 2020 London Wine Competition In contrast to 2012, the 2013 growing season was defined by hot and dry conditions. The Burder Vineyard is non-irrigated so the grapevines rely on the excellent water retention properties of the volcanic loam subsoil. Harvest was two weeks earlier than normal. Expressive, Generous, Complex  - The nose is aglow with preserved lemon, honey and summer fruits of white nectarine and golden peach. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir marry together seamlessly with a profile that is both acid-driven and generous in volume. The palate is layered with flavours of stonefruit, brioche, green olives, vanilla and exotic spice. Ocean ageing imparts a deep-set mineral expression and silky texture that underscores a finish of remarkable poise.
