A dramatic growing season made for the inaugural 2012 Vintage release. The wettest March on record was followed by dry and moderate conditions for final ripening. Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier held their freshness better than Chardonnay which made way for a Blanc de noir as the 2012 release.

Structural, Textural, Nuanced  - The nose is fresh and lively with notes of strawberry hull, white cherry, red apple and lemon zest. True to its Pinot Noir dominance, the palate holds firm with an acid profile that is mineral, chalky, even spicy in texture. The Meunier plays a supporting role that offers confectionary notes of raspberry, strawberry cream and sherbet dust. Ocean ageing provides another dimension on the finish with a mineral acidity that carries nuances of pastry and brioche.
